Details of Robin's debut novel to be published in February 2025 are below...
“He had watched the Akote from the beginning. Before then. From the time when the Sun came into being. When first woman saw the flame of first man and first man was drawn to the fire of first woman, when he and the others emerged from the dark worlds onto this earth.”

In the wake of Donald Trump’s white supremacist attempts to deny the citizenship of Indigenous people in their own lands, this novel reminds us of the violence inherent in America’s colonial history and its present. From the perspective of the trickster deity Coyote, author Robin de Rosario introduces us to three generations of the Akote people. We witness their collective and individual resistance to the denial, disenfranchisement and destruction of the roots, lands, and lives of First Nation tribes in the southwest. ‘Coyote’ is a product of the complex legacies that emerge from intergenerational trauma, and the chilling perpetuation of dehumanisation under the guise of capitalism and Western democracy.

Robin has been mentored in the project by Russ Litten, and is delighted that Coyote is published by Lucent Dreaming released February 6th 2025.
